Governor Lee has announced a plan to expand school vouchers statewide and divert even more money away from our public schools, where 90% of kids attend. Our school districts can't afford to lose any funding.

There are now three version of this bill filed and here's while the details of each plan vary, here is what is know to be true. Plans like this in Arizona, Florida and New Hampshire have gone tens of millions of dollars over budget and are draining needed funding from local schools and local communities. Most of the voucher scam funding in other states is going to kids who already went to private school, meaning it is just a giveaway to wealthy families and leaves schools with less resources to educate the same number of students.

We need legislators to oppose this voucher scam and to focus on increasing funding to every public school so communities can have more resources, smaller class sizes, and better paid teachers and school support staff.
