We also engage in voter registration activities.

I can’t tell you how big I am into this ... Repeated voter contacts do matter ... Markers For Democracy. Let me recommend this site ... They are very organized ... I think that [postcard writing] is one of the most effective things people can do to save this country ... It’s called Markers For Democracy ... I am high on postcard writing!

Markers For Democracy ... is a gathering of regular folks on the east coast who’ve been getting together twice a week since 2016 to write postcards and listen to speakers... Their work, since Trump was elected, hasn’t stopped once. It hasn’t diminished. It hasn’t faltered. If anything they are still learning, still trying new things, and still gaining momentum. To say it was heartening to be with these wonderful folks is an understatement.
— Jessica Craven, Chop Wood Carry Water

We started in New York City, meeting at the Le Pain Quotidien farm table to write postcards to voters, and now we also meet virtually with guest speakers and activists joining from all over the U.S.
