Thank you for nominating Candidates for the Syracuse DSA Steering Committee! Please fill out the form below to make your nominations. Any person to receive more than one nominator for a particular position will be eligible to be a candidate.
Somethings to know:
(1) Self-nominations will not be accepted. If you are considering running for a position, please organize with your fellow members to receive at least 2 unique nominators for that particular position
(2) As a Nominator, your name will not be disclosed to the chapter but will be shared with the Nominee you proposed if that Nominee reaches the 2-Nominations threshold
(3) To process a nomination we need YOUR FULL NAME, EMAIL and YOUR NOMINEE'S FULL NAME along with a specific position; Otherwise, we'll be unable to process the nomination.
(4) To make a valid nomination, you must be a registered member of the DSA with the National. To register as a member use this link:

The nomination deadline is 11:59pm on Tuesday, January 31st, five days before the convention.
Positions open are:
1) Chapter Co-chair A
2) Chapter Co-chair B
3) Secretary
4) Treasurer
5) Communications Organizer
The General Meeting on Saturday, Dec 19th will be a town hall for the candidates so let them know when you have nominated them! Please keep in mind that for someone to be put on the ballot., they must have TWO unique nominators for the same position and accept their nominations.
